Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed a bill into law April 28 that could create a unique way for Arizona sports teams to finance building and renovating stadiums and arenas. The D-backs’ CEO said if the team moves forward on renovating Chase Field using the new financing mechanism, he envisions a mixed-use project being developed around the stadium.
