Rob Millar, who has lived in Scottsdale his entire adult life, started with the city’s solid waste department by working on a curbside pickup crew to haul trash. He worked his way up before being named the city’s full-time economic development director in 2019. He spoke to the Business Journal about his decision to take a new gig.
